Social Responsibility

Education Donation

In Oct. 2007, Gree contributed 300,000 RMB to set up the "Dong Mingzhu Scholarship for Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus".

Earthquake Relief

For a cause that lasts for generations, education is the first. On Dec. 20, 2005, 10,000 employees of Gree donated 360,000 RMB to the education project of Zhuhai city. Next day on Dec. 21, Gree the company donated 1.5 million RMB to support the education development of Zhuhai city (total donation is 1.96 million RMB).

Poverty Alleviation

During SARS epidemic period, Gree donated air conditioners to Beijing Xiao Tang Shan Hospital and quickly finished installation of those air conditioners despite of danger. Later, Gree donated a set of air conditioning equipment that is worth of 1.5 million RMB to the Ministry of Health.
